First challenge was to create a space to create in. Mine needed a little work so I took this one head on!
I set two rules for myself when it comes to creating:
1. There are no mistakes
2. Perfection has no place here
Really they should probably be rules for life in general but that could be a whole post on it's own! Having these two things written in the front of my sketch book helps remind me and free me from that all too familiar road block ... "it's not going to turn out, so I might as well not try"
Be gone or the days of not starting! Here are the days of creating, even when in the end it's not the best.
I received my first WhimseyBox today. It came with this wonderful quote:"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."The images below....definitely not all "art" :)
